James W. Power, Chairman

Mr. Power is well regarded as a leader within the security industry. Prior to joining the Board of Axium, Jim who is the Managing Partner of J. W. Power & Associates was Chairman of InfoGraphic Systems Corp. Jim has a wealth of experience in the Security Industry having served as President and CEO of Martec Inc., President and CEO of Pinkerton Control Systems, and Vice President and General Manager of Cardkey Systems Inc. In addition to his involvement with Axium, Jim also serves as the Chairman of MDI, and Board Member of Henry Brothers.

 

Won Soo Chung, CEO / Board Member

Mr. Chung brings a vast amount of diverse financial, organizational, management, and technical expertise to Axium accumulated during his 21 year professional career. Mr. Chung has served on the Seoul Olympic Organizing Committee and held various senior level posts with the Korean Trade & Investment Promotion Agency in South Korea, the United Arab Emirates, and the United States. His immediate experience in the security industry includes holding the positions of both President & CEO of Webgate USA since year 2000.

 

In-Baik Jeon, Board Member

Mr. Jeon served as the President of the Corporate Planning and Development Office of the Hyundai Group, one of the largest conglomerates in Korea, until the end of the year 2006 as well as CEO of Hyundai Ubiquitous and Information Technology Company of Korea. Mr. Jeon’s experience in the digital video recorder and security surveillance industries was garnered from his position as Vice Chairman of Kodicom Inc., a developer and manufacturer of DVR technologies in Korea. Mr. Jeon has also served as a director for Maxtor Corporation, now Seagate Technology, and Hynix Semiconductor, Inc.

 

Joe Roetheli, Board Member

Mr. Roetheli is an entrepreneur who created and grew his own company into a $100,000,000 company and then sold it to a large conglomerate. Having done so Joe devotes a portion of his energies to investing in and working with early stage companies. In that regard, Joe recently invested $500,000 into the equity of the company and is providing credit facilities relative to product acquisition and related growth issues. Joe’s entrepreneurial skills will be a significant contribution to Axium’s future.

 

Wade Thomas, Board Member

Mr. Thomas has been in the electronic security industry since 1988 in a variety of executive level positions. Wade owns a market development consulting company (Securus Technologies Group, Inc.) Prior to starting STG, Wade was the President of the Professional Products Group and Retail Divisions of GVI Security Solutions, GVI, DBA Samsung CCTV, was the exclusive partner of Samsung Electronics in North and South America. Wade has also held executive positions such as Sir VP Sales and Marketing of Hochiki Corporation, Director for Tri-ed Security Distribution, and as the majority stake owner in a large Orange County based integration company. Throughout his extensive career Wade has developed a unique insight and understanding of industry market channel solutions. He is also a frequent contributor to many security industry publications and is an experienced presenter at industry trade shows and seminars.

 

Sang Jun Park, CTO

Mr. Park’s 15 years of experience has been focused in image processing and software development as well as product development and engineering resource control.  Mr. Sang Jun Park held the CTO position of number of R&D companies and has also help positions as Director of R&D in successful software and firmware companies. Mr. Park has a degree in Computer Science from Korea University in Seoul, South Korea.

 

Paul Hendison, Executive Vice President of Business Development

Mr. Hendison brings a tremendous amount of diverse experience and high level contacts to Axium. As a graduate of the New York School of Finance, 1957 he has over 47 years experience in the fields of communications, marketing, business development, finance and negotiations. Paul is primarily responsible for establishing major contacts and inroads to the heart of the security industry. Paul began his career as a Stockbroker on Wall Street for Walston & Co. where he was a Top 50 producer out of 110 offices worldwide. In the early 1970’s he became involved in the entertainment industry as a consultant, theater owner and producer. Along with a partner, he owned the Hollywood Palace Theater from 1978 until the mid 1980s.
